Ellery Spring 2012 Lookbook 'The Silent Years'

I am loving the Ellery 2012 Spring Collection known as 'The Silent Years'.
Ranging from demure skirts, pleats, peplums and floral vase prints to tailored pant suits and slim tuxedo jackets, there is a real sense of femininity vs masculinity.

Known for its structured pieces, we see shell tops featured again this season along with the 'Must Have' wardrobe staple for Spring, The Bomber Jacket.
There is also the mix of metallics alongside eachother in some pieces creating a cool super luxe feel, not to mention the re-introduction of Cullottes - skirt/shorts combination - to the fashion world.

It is said that designer Kym Ellery was inspired by cults in the 70's for the Spring Collection. She was interested in cult members and their faith in things that seemed crazy to the rest of the population. As a result, she has managed to create a fashionable and highly-wearable Collection out of it which is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
