A Trend that has been around for a while and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast is the illusive ‘Man Style’.
Illusive – deceptive, false, misleading, not real
I say illusive, because as the meaning states, this look is quite deceptive in nature.. Structured tailoring in pressed heavy fabrics made to fit a women’s curves in a generally seen Man’s cut has a great element of sex appeal that brings along with it a polished sophisticated working woman’s look.. The deception lays in the question, when does ‘Man Style’ no longer signify the generalisation of a Man’s look when pieces are now form fitted to women?!
Could it be that as Women, we have now claimed the altered version of the long standing ‘Man Style’ look as our own?
Many Celebrities and Normal Women everywhere have adopted this look mixing staple pieces like a crisp collared shirt or tailored pant (now found in a range of colours) to create what I would call the new definition of the ‘Man Style’..
