Audrey Hepburn - A Style Icon

Nothing says timeless, classic, sophisticated style the way the name Audrey Hepburn does..
Defining the parameters of what was considered sexy after winning an oscar for her role in Roman Holiday in 1953 she become the most important 'Style Icon' of the 20th century and she may have single handedly made bosoms a thing of the past..

Actress and Humanitarian Hepburn worked with many leading names in her time such as Humphrey Boggart, Fred Astaire & Peter O'Toole to name a few and worked with UNICEF since 1950's dedicating a lifetime to disadvantaged communities.
She defined the term women know all too well with her 'Little Black Dress' designed by Givency in one of my all time favourites - Breakfast at Tiffany's and made Capri's and Ballet Flats famous in movie Sabrina.

Both on and off screen Hepburn liked to keep it simple with elegant clean lines and clothes that emphasised her tall and slim physique. Although considered a sexy screen siren Audrey failed to see herself as handsome “I never thought I was pretty. You have to look at yourself objectively. Analyze yourself like an instrument. You have to be absolutely frank with yourself. Face your handicaps, don’t try to hide them. Instead, develop something else.”.

For me, Audrey Hepburn is a truly quintessential style icon. She inspires me and I adore her!
