Presented by SHOP till you drop, from the 12 – 15 May Fashion weekend was held in Sydney’s Royal Hall of Industries.
With a plethora of designers such as Friend of Mine, Hussy, Little Joe Woman, Maurie & Eve, MINKPINK, Camilla & Marc, Bec & Bridge, Minty Meets Munt, Mok Theorom, Nooky, Shakhuachi, Wayne Cooper, Milk & Honey, Ginger & Smart, Stylestalker, PeepToe and Nicola Finetti just to name a few (or several in this case), the scurry of girls and women to snatch up the bargains from the designer’s makeshift stores is pure evidence of just how far Australian fashion has evolved and not to mention how style hungry some of us Sydneysiders are, myself included.
I was sure to attend Opening Night to have first pick of what the designers had to offer and secure my place in the front row of the Catwalk Show.

Within the pics we can see a lot of pieces with flow. Not oversized per say but definitely clothing that has more of a relaxed fit. There was a lot of pastel, brights and flowers. It seems that simplicity is taking the lead a little more than prints in the coming season though. Texture was also seen here with different fabrics & embellishments mixed in the one piece.
Note: I call the clothes 'pieces' as I believe beautiful clothes really are an artform
